Title: Bit of a problem
Post by: Auto Addict on 20 December 2011, 07:43:47
As many of you know, I have a rubber crankshaft fitted to my car.

As oil and rubber don't go well together, I have to run it on a 50/50 mixture of water and carbolic soap, and during the winter months, anti-freeze.

I'm finding it very difficult to obtain carbolic soap, I've tried running it on Imperial Leather, but, I get funny looks when I drive about, because Imperial Leather is a bit too soapy, and the exhaust pumps out lots of bubbles, kids love it though!

Can anyone offer an alternative?

You are in luck. Our neighbours in the village still make soap in the traditional way using a large vat oiver a fire. The raw ingredients are fat from the pigs they killed last weekend to make jamons and sausages. The exhaust gases will smell faintly of roast pork.

I have discussed your needs and they are prepared to make a batch up with some special additives just for you. There will be no charge but Victoria (the matriarch) says some Scotch Whisky and Melton Mowbray Pork Pies would be welcome. Collect any day after the 26th Dec.

PS If used sparingly under the arms it is a good contraceptive. The locals call it antimate :y

Are you smoking something AA.  :o :o ;D

You may find Sanex is a better alternative.   ;)

I suggest you get this sorted asap. Have you seen the state of my car after I followed you the other day.   :o :o ::)
