Sky hd is on hdmi input 4. Turn the tv on and it always used to stay on whatever input was last used. So never touched it, other than to use xbox (3) or ps3(2) which was rare.
Since the last sky update, where the hdmi output failed to work on next start up, fixed by a re set, the tv now automatically switches to sd tuner. It's looking for terestrial channels. What's worse is, set input 4 again and it keeps changing back to sd. This seems to stop happening eventually if a shout at it! :-\
There is an hdmi splitter to the up stairs tv. Due to lack of hdmi ports both the downstairs and upstairs Tv hdmi feeds go through it. Not sure if it's unhappy about something as it has a flashing red light. These lights,1 for each output, stayed constant before if that output was in use, or was off if not used.
While typing the thought occurs. There is a scart lead connected. Wonder if it's auto switching.
Anyway, as it's a total nightmare of cables and lack of space to work behind there any thoughts as to why it's doing it? Before I have to dismantle half the lounge to get at it and by pass the splitter to test.

Correct. Seems the update has different default settings.
