Title: Xmas wish list
Post by: Shackeng on 22 December 2011, 19:35:20

I really really really would like this, it would save my old back no end of aches and pains! :-* :-* :-*

I've always fancied one of those but you could probably find a 2nd hand 2 post lift for that money, and you can stand up under one of those. :-\

Garage headroom permitting, of course.

True Kevin, BUT, this will sit nicely on the garage floor under the car until you need it! Check the dimensions. :y :y :y

Edit: Plus I don't have the headroom :( :( :(

I'd seriously consider getting one of those - it'd go nicely beside the pit ;) (not enough headroom for a proper 2-post lift, silly planning permission regs).. although first I think a pair of these http://www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/details/8in-dolly-trolley for while I'm building up the next project (as it'll lack wheels to begin with)

Not sure they'll fit in my Christmas stocking, though.

Yeah, but they wouldn't be under an Omega ;) They might struggle a bit to hold the Jag up, but probably not once it'd been reduced to a bare shell and scavenged of the useful bits (hubs, IRS, etc)..  :y
