Title: V6 temperature gauge sender
Post by: nilocp on 24 December 2011, 15:07:01
Where is the temperature gauge sender on the 2.5 petrol V6?

I have just done cam cover gaskets, and obviously dislodged a connector, as I now have no gauge. Heater is hot though.

Easy to do, its a brass connector on the coolant bridge, in the V  :y

Plenum would be the easiest.

Personally, I'd just take off the scuttle, than should give enough room, although you may have to climb on engine a bit.

got to give him 10/10 though for the piccies, surely with long fingers youd get from taking scuttle panel off, i know it would be my prefered route
