Title: plenum pipes

the pipes that exit the rear of the plenum,where do thay go,when i removed plenum the other day thay had all gunk in them,just wondered if i could force water down them,or do i have to remove them. :y

a lot of users tend to use carb cleaner for breathers not water hth :y

Remove matey! It's breather system, these pipes go to crank case vent house, strictly prohibited to fill up with water!  ;)

Yep - remove them and clean them out with carb/ injector cleaner. Also remove and clean the black plastic breather body on top of the plenum as it gets blocked too. ;)
As said,if you force water down the breather pipes you will end up with a mixture of oil and water in the sump. :o

ok thanks did the black plastic bit, got most of gunk out of those pipes but thier must be more further down,gives me somthing to do with my 2 weeks of.

Take a look in the Maintenance Guides Index on here - there is a V6 Cleaning Crankcase Breather System guide that I found useful.   :y
