Title: key fob broke

Hi all, anyone here know someone who does repairs on the key fob?..mine is a 99 T reg 2.0 cd elite estate. Went to change battery in the fob and found the battery holder had broken from its soldered points..

thanks for speedy reply... sent him a PM. Maybe the exterior trims have been replaced, as it says elite on them. only just got car so still fiding my way about it..

Think the clues in your original post - "mine is a 99 T reg 2.0 cd elite estate" - ie CD spec  ;)

Aye, try Martin Imber.

Guessing, as suguested,you have a CD, not an Elite, if its a 2.0l :)

Martin has not been on OOF since 26th November so not sure if he will see any PM's.

See if there is a contact method on his website - http://martinimber.co.uk/index.htm - and look on e-bay.  He advertises VX fob repairs on there as well.   :y
