I recently bought a '99 2.5 CDX estate in satin red.

At the mo she's suffering with coil pack woes and a water leak (I suspect the valve that sits above the coil pack).

I'll be looking to pick some brains soon when I set about getting her back on the road.

It was indeed your mention that made me think of popping in Jon.
I've found the valve I need on ebay for about £15, and the coil pack from my old Cavalier works well on the Meega so hopefully it won't be long before she's on the road.
I'll then move on to the cosmetics - some key scratches up both sides, a damaged rear light cluster and a damaged door trim to be sorted.

Then I just need to sell one of the the Carltons to make space!

which one? I have spares up in Scotland. I got a pair for 'just in case' so let me know. ISTR they are smoked so you may be better off having both.....s'up to you. Only problem is I won't be ther until near the end of Jan mate,so if you get something in the meantime......

It's the N/S thats cracked but I have no idea if theyre smoked - will check tomorrow.
