Title: Travelling this weekend?
Post by: Nickbat on 19 March 2008, 12:05:31
Heads up!

See this quote from http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/HOME/index_ht.asp

"Into the weekend and a more organised trough could swing South bringing more widespread and substantial snowfall across much of the British Isles. Moderate confidence in this feature, however one which you should be aware of if you are making plans to travel this weekend. "

They always say it's gonna snow. Still haven't seen a single flake this year.

I'm beginning to think the met office is just an elaborate hoax, invented to make us believe we have made progress in meteorological science that goes beyond dancing round a camp fire praying for rain/sun.

good to see the weather is finally getting its act together.  Those snowflakes will be coming down in neat columns, not all over the place as normal.
