Title: Centre console armrest

Hi,

On my '95 MV6 there is the standard telephone kit with the front hinged armrest which also swivels. With the 17 years that have passed since the car was made, technolgy has moved on somewhat - GSM , bluetooth etc. Therefore the armrest phone fitting is redundant.
Is there any way of converting the armrest, so it is rear hinged and so can be used as a small storage area? Or any aftermarket armrest to do the same thing?

You can probably just fit the 'standard' armrest (with small storage box under it).

Ages since I've seen the phone type, so can't remember what its like...
