Just a quickie for you this eve, will 225/40/18 alloys fit on my mv6 (2000)?

Standard firment, tyre wise, is 235/45-17
Someone clever will give the rim offset.

That's a tyre size ;). It's the rim size eg 18 x 8J you need to concentrate on & more importantly the offset eg ET39 (can't think what the Omega's is :-\)

That's a tyre size ;). It's the rim size eg 18 x 8J you need to concentrate on & more importantly the offset eg ET39 (can't think what the Omega's is :-\)
Does the offset varies with rim?

those tyres are reasonably acceptable. resultant speedo error of 1.5%
