Quite sad that a child should want all that done at that age but as you say absolutely disgusting that a mother should encourage such things to a child. the girl will never be a model cause sees pretty ugly unless she gets a full head transplant

That child should be taught to be confident in herself and be happy with who she is not given vouchers to change her body.
That in my book is nothing short of child abuse and where by I don't like the thought of children being seperated from their parents, I think she should be for her own protection.  She is not going to be allowed to develop into her own person but to be moulded into a copy of her mother and used to expand her sleazy empire. >:( >:(

Regarding the OP, I think we can thank the worship of celebrity for such blatant nonsense - not forgetting the corrosive influence of trash magazines, cheap television and social networking.

Blast you beat me to it. We are all quick to criticise this mother and yet none of us object publicly to the dumbing down of society via Big Brother celebrity/get me out of X/ Factor/Skins/Scum/Shameless/Katie Price World..........................

You are not wrong I was speaking to a colleague this morning about goals for 2012 and her's was to lose 2 stone so that she could look more like a WAG.  She maybe weighs no more than 9 stone right now!  I asked her why and she said that it was because that is the weight that these women on TV are at and they look fantastic.

I asked her if she would be happy attracting men when she had the body of a 10 year old boy and whether they would be the type of men she wanted...... I dont think she had thought about that.

What about a healthy diet & exercise?  ::)

No doubt she has spend a lot of money on making her self look good, she still has a face like a slapped arse. Keep on spending I say, your going to need a lot more cash before your remotely attractive!

I was reading an article about that today in the NY Times, 8 pages discussing various scientific studies over the years which have concluded that once you lose weight, you're doomed to having to eat less calories and do more exercise than someone who has never had a weight problem, just to maintain that weight.

Which sucks, rather.

(They did give hard numbers as evidence - apparently you end up needing a 3-500 calorie deficit vs. someone else of the same age & final weight.. and on top of that, once 'thin' a previously fat persons muscles consume less calories per unit of work than someone who never had to lose the weight in the first place!)

Damn. I thought. That's me boned.

I got accused to looking thin again today at work, someone who had not seen me in a couple of weeks asked if lost weight  ::)

Quite the opposite actually, now 13.5 stone  :o :o :o

Although puts me smack in the middle for a healthy BMI of 22.1

My wine consumption has increased by about 1,000% since going out with MrsT, so that could be to blame for my recent weight gain  ;D

You fat bastard. :P ;D ;D

I have also reached the 13 stone + mark recently, which is a good 2 stone heavier than I was when I left my previous job. Trouble is, its all on my gut. Increase in beer consumption in my case. ::)

£500,000 to look like someone set fire to her face then put it out with a cricket bat, & she wants the same thing for that poor little girl? Whatever happened to childhood & parenting?

I'm honestly shocked. That's disturbing to say the least.

Agreed, too! I would add I would wonder what kind of behavior pattern did the "Mom" learn from her own mother...maybe she is not so guilty?  :o :o :o

As said before, I think that woman is guilty of child cruelty. That little girl should be outside running round with friends asking for dolls, sweets & games, not bloody surgery >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Katie price is a fine example of surgery doing more harm than good. When she was first noticed and photographed, she was stunning, but the more surgery she got the worse she looked.... I can't stand her now, she looks awful now YUK!
