DON'T USE CAPITALS! LOOKS LIKE YOU'RE SHOUTING!!
You'll get far better answers if you read and obey the rules :)
As to injector seals, I'm afraid I don't know .. didn't even realise they were a MOT item !!

eBay ;)

Very simple to change and the seals are cheap from Vx.
Interestingy, they never fail unless the injectors have been fiddled with.
-
Was going to say, I would not trust that diagnosis, we have 2 x 2.2's one at 156k the other 125k. Never had any issues with injectors.
What does the MOT failure actually state?
Ohh and take a hint at the other 1,000,000 posts here, in which no one posts in CAPTIALS! ::)

There easy to replace and use Vx ones as they are known quality (as its a fuel system)

...so is that a leaky injector as in an MOT fail? Or advisory? Emissions pass?? Makes sense that it'd fail on that but I never knew it was for sure...
I brought a injector rebuild kit off eBay for my vxr injectors came with all seals (some fancy rubber resistant to fuel damage) and finger filters all in for about £12 or something, but so far so good... Not sure about one off individual seals I would have thought your local vauxhall dealer could provide?
-
...actually I just remembered, my vauxhall wouldn't price me for just injector seals they wanted to sell me complete injectors that's why I went on eBay...

Glad your well on the way to getting things sorted. If you need any more help, send me a message and I will try to help if I can. :y
I know English isnt your original tongue which may make things a bit difficult at times, but try to avoid using text speak words when posting as its somewhat frowned on. ;) :y
Example - thx instead of thanks. Not having a go by any means or trying to patronise, just offering a little advice. :y

Gibby has just asked me via PM about the location of the injector seal.I dont really know my way around the 4 pot engine and didnt want to give the obvious answer "bottom of injector", as Im not even sure what needs to be removed to access the injectors.
Anyone able to offer him some basic advice/info please ?
Edit. I have had a look at the LPG fron end install thread which clearly shows the injectors. Are they just a push fit into the manifold?
Is the seal just an O ring type seal ?
-
I'm struggling to remember what type of injector the 2.2 has. :-\
There's a cable tray which has the connectors to the injectors built onto the bottom of it, so that needs to come off and be moved aside. I believe the injectors are the end-fed type (like the V6) that sit between the rail and the manifold rather than side-fed injectors that sit inside the fuel rail.
If I'm right then the injectors are clamped between the fuel rail and the manifold, so unscrew and withdraw the fuel rail, carefully easing the seals out of the manifold, and you will find the injectors clipped to the fuel rail.
MOT fail will be down to one of the seals between injector and fuel rail, most likely, as these result in a fuel leak whereas the lower seals will give you an air leak.
Probably worth getting hold of a complete set of seals, or at least a handful, in case you damage any during removal or find that more than one have failed.
I find it handy when reassembling to clean the seats in the fuel rail and manifold of any crud and corrosion and then giving them a light greasing to allow the seals to slide in easily and avoid them getting damaged.
They are just generic seals for Bosch 0280155 series injectors so if they are expensive from a main dealer you can probably pick up a pack from any fuel system specialist, or ebay, pretty cheap.

Very helpful (as always) Kevin, thanks.I will make sure the OP reads this and try to ensure he gets the correct parts. Hes not far from me so I will have tools etc. if he needs them. :y

hello sir, hope you're fine. good news early in the morning I went straight on the car and started working on it. I indeed found a very easy job I removed the injectors and no. 4 cylinder seal was badly damaged. I tried to look around the shops but there was none. But a delivery van drive gave me a phone number of T&M the injector dealers who sold me 8 of the seals at £8.50. So I changed all of them. Now the sound has stopped and the car is running smoothly, and I will take it for MOT tomorrow.
I like to take this opportunity to thank you and all the people like Kelvin who trired their best to help me, thank you very much. gibby
