... If so, I could really do with some guidance on changing the oil in the Diffs and transfer box :y

(I guess I'll need to sign up to the Landie Forums  :'( )

I know b*gger all about them but I will hazard a gues you locate the drain plug first of all? ;)

Mr. DTM will of course have all the answers (one day I wil find something he does not know!)

Yes, I will look for a drain plug, in fact I've already found it

Presume once drained, I just refill on a flat surface until it takes no more?

I may have to trundle up to Notts to see Mr DTM in my new beast ;)

Why dont you measure how much comes out.....if theres no leaks should give you a guide on how much to bung in  :y

Excellent info on here, just hope you don't need as much advice as we did during a painfully expensive and short lived period of Freelander ownership :'(
