Title: ABS ECU P/N?
Post by: ChrisWallMV6 on 15 January 2012, 14:44:10
Will be removing my ABS ecu soon but before I do that I need to shop around for refurb prices etc

Whats the part number of mine, as I am led to believe it is directly linked to a number of factors and I am struggling to find a definitive answer

My car is a preface (99 T) 3.0 MV6 Manual

One way to get a definite answer would be to remove your old one and see, as far as I know you should be able to use the car without the e.c.u. in place...

As for cost of re-furb, just assume the worst and anything less will be a nice surprise!!

Part number is helpfully marked on the underneath of the abs ecu where you can't see it :(

As said remove it

No need to get the part numebr for a refurb price.

Basicaly BBA charge about 130 quid and ecutesting about 100 quid.
