Title: ANOTHER ALARM POWER SOUNDER
Post by: roberts_1409 on 26 January 2012, 22:04:18
Just got an Omega, but when opened using the key rather than the fob, when the alarm goes off, only the hazards flash, no noise.
Isn't the power sounder supposed to go off and the horn?
Not too sure tbh, new to Omega's.
I've noticed one of the horns isn't working, don't know if that has anything to do with it?

Where is the p/s located? I have another Mega than I can swipe it from
Cheers

The powersounder has probally been disconected as it can be a problem when the batteries leak. It is well documented on this forum how members have had problems, even fires, caused by a faulty unit. To locate and change the unit is not too bad but it is well hidden. How to guides in the maintenance section.
