Title: colds

Care for prevention! I take vitamins and LGG probiotic to prevent bad cold although sometimes the illness is stronger. >:( I add when I fell in sickness it never takes longer than 5 - 6 days that much shorter period of time than an average cure term. Good luck bud ! :y

Can't remember the last time I had a cold. I'm guessing about ten years ago. :y

Same here, I seem to be able to stave off colds but I've had a really irritating cough that's lasted about 3 weeks now

You used to able to get special zinc tablets to fight colds, but they no longer seem to be available, so I just use plain zinc tables from the chemist. They don't taste very nice, but it is worth it.

I've found to my cost if you leave it until you have very sort throat, it is too late and won't make much difference. >:(

I don't take pills, potions or anything else except as absolute last resort - lifestyles today reduce body's resistance - never been wrapped up in cotton wool and if feeling a bit lethargic - get in shower and get to work

Post by: pscocoa on 29 January 2012, 00:10:56: my wife gets coughs all the time and spends ages with all kinds of vapours and albas oil - maybe I get immunity from passive inhalation - she also uses the steamers. I am sure this lot makes resistance much less - her coughs last for weeks as well
