this post is in the wrong section, it just be in Gen chat.
I have used DHL to send stuff before, they have been ok :y

have a peek on eBay --- they do "bucket shop" delivery services -- have used a few myself -- less than half the cost of going direct -- and, so far, have been very good

I used a company called Alloys2U last year and although they got here I was worried sick for the 10 days it took .They promised to pick up on three occassions and once told me they had been collected when they were still at seller. They used DHL and because the contract was with A2U they would not give me the tracking number.
I'd rather deal direct with the courier this time.
Thanks

I tried to send something to Germany (from UK) which because of its size, all the normal suspects said it was 40kg (it was less that 5kg; just big). In the end, found a place called "interparcel". As most of these others, they just resell DHL etc, but they picked up when they said, and I could access the tracking number - plus 25% cheaper that DHL direct (parcel2go.com) when comparing easier packages.
Gets my vote....
