Title: Oil filter location on vw 1.9d engine

For my Seat Inca van. Was having a mooch about and i couldn't see it Its the basic 1868cc 1.9d (not SDI).

Come on then, whos knows? ;D :y

Is it designed to pour warm oil down/up your sleeve like an Omega's?  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Think there like that on mk4 astras then as i had a similar incident doing an oil change on a 1.6 16v ;D

No, they keep the driver's side lower suspension arm rust free, I undo the filter over a piece of folded card to direct it into my oil catch can  :y :y :y

Did the oil change no trouble. A fiver for the filter which looked like it was for a truck and I had some HalFords oil I bought last month for 14 quid. Out of curiosity I rang round and cheapest I could get it done for was 35 quid.
