hi guys can a blowing exhaust cause the light to come on the one with car and spanner

Possible, but you normally get the orange "engine" light for emissions. Anyone near you with a code reader Ralf :-\

not as far as i know rob forgot to say it dont drive any differnt when its on

Possibly lambda but ideally need a reader on it

i think it may be that as mot said lambda slightly high thinking of takin it next week for a check

yes it does every time all i got to do is stop turn engine off and start it light goes off for some time :y :y :y

You have to get a reader on it. Guessing is just pissing in a force 9.

Random part changing is expensive, and makes finding out what is really wrong so much more complex.

called out rac for a diagnostic but they are busy cant come out till morning so may then know why light keeps coming on :y :y :y :y

I very much doubt it, do it properly & read the codes yourself  :y

Around £30 for an el-cheapo code reader from ebay

bank one sensor due to exhaust blow on computer

but this would put emmissions warning light on not spanner light. Emmissions light would not go off on restart of car.

i had the manegment light on after and the spanner one is off and stayed off

ok so reset of error codes will turn emissions light off - how long before it comes back on? maybe whack some top class fuel  in it

took car for a 12mile run this morning with management light on parked it in car park went back hour and half later started car and management light went out and haven't come back on  funny or what  :y :y :y :y
