I've occasionally had this code stored, no EML. I know it is related to cold weather and use of electric block heater. For example this morning, -22 outside and car was on heater about two hours, started somehow poorly but runs ok. Any ideas? My old one had the same engine and same heater and never ever any problems with this code. Would it be cured by updating the ECU program because that's about the only difference between my old and current car? Oh, and I have changed the ecu temp sender "just in case" but no luck with this issue and as said, only getting the code when the block heater has been in use.
