Title: Charity Collection Bags
Post by: waspy on 04 February 2012, 16:21:57
Over the years I've had many charity collection bags pushed through my door & over the years I've placed them in a small box under the sink, just a few mins ago I went under the sink for something & I looked at these bags all nicely placed in their plastic storage box. I decided to count them, 89 of the bloody things  ;D ;D

We have quite a few charity shops just up the town, why waste money shoving these through our doors when their less than half a mile away.

Well I have enough bin liners for a while  ;D :y

Because there's money in it, alot of money. My dad has the storage contract for the distribution company that works for a well known charity. Regularly, 10-12 pallets get delivered to his warehouse containing about 250,000 bags. This is for the entire northeast region. They work on getting roughly 6% of bags back with an average value of £10 each.
