Title: MOT failure - Idler arm
Post by: less on 05 February 2012, 18:17:14
Hi all. as above, failed on excessive play to steering idler bush (and 1 or 2 x other items - already sorted)

The guide is very clear, and I have picked up a new idler from stealers, so will change this week.

Can one of the experts confirm that the geometry set up is NOT upset by changing the idler?

(The tyres had been wearing fairly evenly since my last visit to Tony up until recently, when the onset of wear on front inner edges crept up on me! :-[  Two new tyres required >:(  )
