Title: Underseal
Post by: blackviper90210 on 05 February 2012, 20:53:03
Evening all,

I'm going to need to underseal my car in the near future, as it's starting to rust in exposed areas.

Any suggestions on what product is best all round?  On a tight budget, so within reason please :y

TIA :)

I know a man who thins out dirty engine oil and sprays the inside of his sills and chassis box sections with it.
Then just paints the outside of all exposed chassis and around suspention area's with underseal.

Never seen him with a rusty car but his neighbours hate him because he always sprays the oil on somebody else's front  ;D

I'd go for a modern alternative to Waxoil, something like Dinitrol :y

have used waxoyl on all my cars and if done regularly does a good job and I believe that it ok on rubber parts too.
