When replacing them try a long 8mm socket instead of the torx socket ;)

I used an 8mm socket pete , the awkward one closest to the engine block in the corner i used 2 small extensions and a knuckle joint while i was kneeling on top of the engine  :D

Knowing that its vunerable to "running water" from the scuttle I've "adapted" a moisture resistant ceiling tile to slide in above it now.

Looks odd but as long as it prevents water to getting to it...job done.

Why on earth did they weld that metal shroud next to the dispak , if they had made it detachable at the top it would have been an easy job  >:( In my frustration at one point i nearly got the angle grinder out  :o

Took your advice dan and had plenty of breaks , lifting the bonnet higher gave more room and better light . I did climb on top of the engine ... Now i know how to get to it it should be a lot easier getting it back in  :-X   :y
