Hi,just browsing at the google map of my street, and the car outside my house is my previous suburu Legacy estate, which was sold about 5 years ago.
So whats parked outside yours, and how often do google update these maps.
Alfie.

No cars at all either in my drive or on the roadside. They must have done it while we where all at work. Picture has never changed from original so assuming they are not updating them.
Right up the top of my drive was my last Opel Manta, sadly it is obscured by a neighbours bush/tree.

A Pair of MV6 Estates...

-
No street view where I live ::)

Omega saloon 2.5 CDx facelift outside ours.
-
No street view of our rural road but google earth has just been updated. I can see my soon to go to the crusher in the sky silver Omega. In fact the detail is so good I can see a six foot long piece of timber holding the sheeting down on one of our logpiles.

-
My previous 3.0 turbo diesel BMW 5 series :'( :'(
Thanks for reminding me ;D ;D
-
when I put my address in the house picture is of a house 200 yards away - on satellite over correct address the Omega is there and what looks like a Crossfire my wife used to swap with when my son went on business and took her car - so guessing about 5 years ago.
-
Just put in my postcode, hit the satellite button and up popped a picture. Not quite what I was expecting. It's in slightly the wrong hemisphere, for a start, but bizarrely, I knew exactly where the scene was from. Kirstenbosch gardens near Cape Town. ;D

Tried again and, sadly, my house hasn't been teleported there. It's still in glorious Hampshire. :(
-
That is Kirstenbosch in Cape Town - I was there in 2010 - great place to visit but was 40 degrees C when we were exploring it
-
I think I know which view I'd prefer! Although not if it's 40ºC..
-
22.8 oC today. That'll do nicely. :y
-
no street level view, but omega is visible on the road..
-
No cars on driveway. Not sure how 2 of us could be out in 3 cars at any point, ho-hum....

Well, they were still building our road. Most houses look unoccupied. House was built in 1998 so pretty stale pictures, I reckon. ;)

The original satelite view of mine was building site, but this was updated a while back. Street view has only been done once...
-
Actually, I lied, Silver Bullet gracing my driveway, I must have been out in "TRACTOR!"

July 2009 a Wednesday and early, before 7.30am.
On the drive, Master Vamps Saxo, before he past his test. Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, on the road outside our house the Mitsubishi Gallant and on the road up the street a little our Red Omega Estate which we still own, though it's fate is currently in the balance....... :-\ :-\ :-\

No street view available, but satellite view shows my old 205 GTi project (a nice little earner) and my green p/fl Omega.
Shame it wasnt a bit earlier,it could have had a shot of my Senator.

I always fancied picking up a nice 205 GTi (a rare thing these days!) - although a friend did just that recently.. and still hasn't managed to go more than a few miles without something dropping off ;D (Ah, French cars)
Neither of my houses (previous and current, that is, I'm not landed gentry!) have any of my cars outside - my flat was obviously taken while I was at work, and the current place was taken before I moved in. Boo. Satellite view does show my MR2 outside the old flat, though.

google maps was not around then you old fool :-* :-* ;D

My house is on a corner of a road and a lane, if you put streetview blokey outside my house you get a E30 320 bmw and a ford anal probe, then move slightly to the right to the corner and it changes to the bmw (parked in differant spot) vaux belmont, fiat punto and a saab 90! with mini ans a austin 1100 out the back (roughly 6 months apart), if you zoom out of street view it must of been taken weeks before i bought the place! I only had the probe a couple months but it manages to not only apear at my house, but at my mums 120 miles away and my mates in london. ;D
-
There should be an probe into the reasons for this in my view...

;D ;D weird how they done a dead end lane before the main road, a few months apart!
-
No cars on my drive but the driveway was extended about 2 years ago and it wasn't on the picture.
-
Got me coming out of my door in work coveralls!
Was Feb 2009, I know this as the Omega A (carlton) is up on stands having the rear wishbone bushes renewed. I have a saved picture somewhere.
