Marks DTM Calib, circa sometime a few years back...

And a very true statement imo.My first Omega almost put me off Vauxhalls after being a VX man since I was a yoof. Everytime I fixed something, something else went wrong with it.Service book was full of main dealer stamps. ::)
After discovering OOF,I started to make headway and by the time it went to a new home It was pretty well sorted and I was sad to see it go.
My current daily drive came from another (trusted) forum member and has needed very little work apart from the usual servicing. :)
My current project has obviously been serviced by people who know nothing about Omegas, as most of the well known problems have become apparent very quickly. :(
Be patient with it Ralf, and work through the issues.Once you do that it will serve you well. :y

That often means it will need a good going over and service before it behaves itself. ;)

The stamp means they booked the car in. Whether or not it made it in the workshop, let alone any work done.....

My Elite came with a fully stamped book. Its taken me nearly 2 years to get it sorted, due to dealer bodges.

Whats wrong with downpipe? Do NOT change the cat, and do not trust the exhaust place that says you must...

Vauxhall servicing is the problem  ;)

DIY serviced my 2.2, had it for 7 years, never let me down, never missed a beat.

3.2, only had it 6 months but so far so good.

Its all about preventative maintenance,  not just waiting for something to break  :)
