I'm not one to usually comment much on football, my views are well known about it ::)
But as part of my job, we have to watch it :(
But Suarez, found guilty of racism, refused to shake hands Evra after his considerable ban? >:(
People like that should be banned for life from the game, surprised there was note a pitch invasion / riot!

Make it simple an ban football entirely
-
why would you ban the most popular sport in the world...Can't really see how Suarez can defend his actions...
-
I think Fergusons comment after the game were spot on. The scumbag should never be allowed to pull on a Liverpool shirt again. :y
-
Very, very disappointing. As was Dalglish's attitude, though I can't see him being able to defend him any more >:(

The "stage" these sorts of incidents happen on makes little odds. But I refer to it as the Pikey mentality. The do as you like(y) mentality. Ie, Pikey Suarez breaks the law or whatever, then crys fowl and blames the authority's as being abusive, over zealous, etc and abuses those, that are sick to the back teeth of recieving said abuse and reported the matter rather than take matters into thier own hands, because of it.
The idea in this case I think, was the Materazi style of pikeyism. Abuse a player to get a reaction so the abused player(Zedan in the world cup) is sent off. Evra didn't bite, and grassed the little shit after the match. Fair play to him!
Trouble now is, I guess, the opportunity to make false accusations to get an opposing player a ban, there by affecting championships etc. A form of cheating in itself. Suarez couldn't get his story straight in the inquiry, implying he lied through his teeth in my book, and copped a 6(?) match ban.
Now, having been found guilty, Suarez refuses to man up and shake the guys hand. Suarez was rumbled, cought red handed, as proved by the investigation by the f.a.
But somehow Suarez thinks it's someone else's fault. Evaras presumably. Although if I was Evra I would not be too bothered to shake Suarez's hand at all frankly...

Yes, I was impressed by his comments. No messing around, to the point, clear and as you say spot on!

I'd be bothered ..Evra was trying to draw a line under things and get on..Suarez should be made to apologise by his manager or dropped to the reserves for the rest of his contract

Agree with you, by that to some extent I meant to take Suarez's arm. Suarez will probably try to claim assault.
The videos on the sky sports app are quite telling. Dalgliesh tried to claim he didn't know about the hand shaking incident, "conrary to what he was told" apparently and blamed the media for highlighting tensions. Backing himself into a corner there I think. Maybe Kenny doesn't see Liverpools world wide multi racial following...?
Disgracefull indeed. Sadly.

evra should have been sent of for wearing a crap shirt and its up to the player if he wants to shake hands or not

...of course, but cant then complain he is seen as unproffessional, un sporting, and obtuse if he refuses.
ESP given the historic circumstances, and regardless of what shirt is worn by who. ::)
