Sorry to hear you are having problems, is it the frozen water ?. Simple solution, alcohol freezes at a lower temperature than water, so drink lots of beer instead. You could also try running the dishwasher using beer, but......

Can you not go more than 1 day without breaking something....Mrs TB's car, your water meter and now the dishwasher!

One suggests you should be straight jacketed and placed in a padded cell for everyone else's safety! :P :P

Isn't this the 75th time the dishwasher has broken down in the last couple of years? Just buy a new one! It's got to be worth it on the peace & quiet front, at least ;)

I don't get dishwashers. My parents have one (just Dad now). I used to watch them ask eachother "Did you put that there? They usually go there, did you move that? Did you take that out, i just put it in? etc. By the time you've loaded the thing, unloaded it again....10 minutes at the sink, job done & hundreds of pounds to spend much more irresponsibly. Don't they have to have salts or something added? What an overpriced palava.

Ask Sue nicely if she'll buy you some marigold gloves to go with your apron!!!!! ;D

salts, detergents are not cheap.. but so is water and you can never wash the same amount of dishes with less water than the machine uses..  for one person its easy , but if you are crowded you may well spend your life in the kitchen ;D

One of the best things since sliced bread  :y :y
Plus a dishwasher is supposed to be more hygienic than washing up by hand.....if the dishwasher washes at 65c  ;)

You lucky...... lucky man. ;D ;D ;D

We are so impoverished that we do not own a "luxury item" such as a dishwasher. Add to that, the fact that our boiler went "tits up" a couple of weeks ago means that the Opti family is currently washing up in cold water. ::) ::) ::)

.......and oh yes, I nearly forgot to mention that the electric cooker and the fridge freezer both expired in the last month as well.

To be fair, it was a £12 oven (yes, £12 second hand) 5 years ago so has served us well ::)

Needs a new grill element, now a new oven element... I'll keep an eye on a couple on the bay as I can probably replace it for under £30 ;)
