Well folks, apologies for yet another long absence...
Not much of an excuse really, apart from working stupidly daft long hours, and ripping the house apart to start decorating...
And then re-plastering half the house...
And then buying and old motorbike last Sept to do up...
And then having a slight flood to contend with which meant re-decorating again in certain rooms... >:(
And then having to finish off the rest of the decorating...
And then Xmas came along,
And then tidying up after the afore-mentioned festivities,
And then getting even busier at work...
Anyway, I'm back again now!
The Omega is - touch wood - running champion! Still getting a regular 38mpg out of the ol' girl :)
I'm thinking of getting a fresh motor, but at the expense of the wife's Puma (the Miggy is cheaper to run than her 1.7 tin box!)
And here is the result of my winter restoration Motorbike Project - a Honda 400 Superdream:

Only 11 left of this model, according to the DVLA! She won't pull the skin off any rice puddings (they called em a Wet Dream back in the day, but I think that was the 250's they were talking about!! ::) :D ) but she'll do for me!
What's new on here???

That would be the Dream, or CB250T. I seem to recall seeing one up for sale on t'ebay quite recently

My Dad had a blue 250 Dream (which I think is the one your refering too), then a red 250 Super Dream.
They were very slow though ::)
-
I had a 250 Super Dream, it was a T reg and it would just about pull 90mph if I lay on the tank and I was a skinny young man in those days. I remember riding around Broughton roundabout with the right peg on the floor trying to grind the bobble off it, then were the days ::)

The bobbles are still intact on mine too! :D
