I just read this article on the BBC news website and could not beleive it!!

Plans for the first car-share lane on the M1 have been dropped because they wouldent generate enough income in favour of other forms of traffic management.

i`m real glad i dont travel down the smoke anymore it would take upto 2 alf hours sometimes to get into london from the midlands...even up ere i try to keep off the motorways an main roads at peak times...
