well i just think its a better its alot stronger engine because ive had nothing but trouble from the 2.2 ecotec, the cars only done 56k and ive just had to change the head because it was pumping oil out the side of number 3 cylinder down in the plug hole.the orange engine management light is always on god nose why,ive changed coil pack, cam sensor and a full service,,,,,,,,,so i am thinking of changing the engine for the ex2.0let turbo lump and i just wanted to no what i need to do and how much i have to change.....any help please

the "red-top" and the Ecotec are almost identical

Lol, the 2.2 and the redtop are no different......blcoks are pretty much identical and the heads have little difference.
The cambelt and water pump setup is all the but the same, the only variance is the later injection setup on the 2.2.
