Hi all , my sunroof seems to have gone on auto pilot , when driving today it tries to open and close partially without me even touching the switch . Hows that ?

Mine does that too, I like to think it's just making sure I get some fresh air...

Thanks , whats the bit about the bulb ? Got a bit confused , is that if the bulb has blown or does that require replacing after its took apart :-\

Ive cleaned it and put back together , how do i re-set the roof :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\
When done fit all back together, reset roof,
:-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

The sunroof is slightly different.
With the sunroof closed, push the controller in and hold for 2 seconds.
Do the same with the dial in the fully open position and in the tilt position.
Sunroof is now reset.

Yup - when I did it I waited for the sunroof to fully open in each direction before I pushed & held .. not sure if I had to, but it worked the way I did it :)

I put it all back together and at first it didnt work :o I have done the re-set now and all is good , the real test will be to see if it still has a mind of its own when i drive the car ...could be a little upsetting if starts raining ::) :y

By the way whats the extra connection for in the roof , a white multi connection not connected to anything :-\

Where's everyone gone :-\ :-\ :-\ Anyways its fixed ...just the spare wire got me thinking it must be for something as an optional extra
