Title: MOT............... Pass!
Post by: VXL V6 on 25 March 2008, 10:37:48
Yipee!

My car passed it's MOT with no Advisories this morning!

First time i've put this car through an MOT so I was a bit nervous. Only thing I picked up was the handbrake needs a little adjustment as one side is more efficient than the other. No big deal!

All OK for another year!!!!

I'm well chuffed! Cheers for the responses.  :y

Glad there was nothing extra!

I know the front tyres are 'getting there' but i'm waiting for WIM to open their doors then i'll get the whole geometry checked over as well (Camber is out a little looking at the wear).

I have adjusted them a little as per the guide but obviously not quite balanced. TBH the rear brake pads are quite low so I think I might buy new pads and discs (Bargain price from VX as a set) and possibly get some 3rd party shoes and do the lot in one go... should be good for another 60K then.  :y

Nice one. Mine sailed through last time giving her a 13 monther til Oct this year. Should sail again, new front discs/pads & track rods while we're at it going on soon before they really need doing. Cambelt kit done when i bought it. Look after them & they'll repay you. Never let me down, worth every penny.
      Cracking motor. :y

P.S. Waxoiled last year. Every little helps. :D
