Hello,
as per subject...
decided to swap the bulbs on the clocks as 1 or 2 had gone, made sure key was out etc, unplugged mid, pulled clocks out, changed bulbs, put back and now no mid at all?
i've currently got the battery unhooked to see if leaving it and connecting it back up later will cure it
what do people think?
thanks in advance

take the plug apart and push the pins back in place, they can pop out in the pin and not sit home on the unit.

The pins in the plug are extremely small and easily bent over. You wouldn't be the first to have bent a pin when plugging it back in.
If it has happened to you should be able to carefully straighten it again.

stupid me! The mid screen works but isn't lit because i couldn't get 1.5w 501 bulbs, are they dealer only as I've tried beating them but couldn't find any suitable so banged 5w bulbs in... Yes i know, naughty me but i couldn't see the fuel gauge before in the dark... If anybody knows other than dealer then let me know where to get them. Thanks. Alex

thanks for the link jimbob!
to explain properly, i fitted 5w 501 capless bulbs into the 4 dash bulb bits which must have confused it making the mid not light up unless i've just popped all the mid bulbs!
the dash doesnt dim atm with the scroll thing but tbh even with 1 of the 4 bulbs not working before, it didnt dim either ???
thanks

dose the led light up on the light control the bit above the switch for the lights. if dose not see if you can get another one and try that your lights may work properly with a new-er one. had a faulty one and did not dim the lights on the dash and they flashed on and off afew times on both the display and speedo lights.
