Title: windsceen wiper gremlin ??

on 3 or 4 occasions now when i go to start the car the wipers have done 1 sweep of the screen without the wiper stalk being selected.
no deffinate pattern to it just puzzling,has any of you guys & girls in the know any ideas ;)

I know on my old BMW if you had wipers going then you turned car off. Then put lever off.
When you turned car on again the wipers would do the last swipe that would have been programmed to do because car being turned off with wipers on.

probally wiper stalk on its way out  :y   cheap and easy fitting  :y once ignition is off it resets to off  :y

edit---- have you rain sensor installed ??

i dont know if its fitted or not to be honest,its a 2002 cdx if that helps  :-\

might try a bit of switch cleaner if it starts to p**s me off  ;D :y
