Title: My Omega Want start...

Hello!!

For a few days ago i tryed to start my omega but it would not start. When i turn the key there only come sounds from the headlights engine regulator and then the engine light in the dash are flashing.
The RPM are showing about 2500 RPM constant untill i turn it off again.
There are no reaction in the engine starter or the fan belt.

Can any one help me??

Hello, please give us some details about the car, Engine, year etc. Have you obtained any fault codes? I am assuming the battery is fully charged.

Omega B from 1998, 3.0 MV6.
The battery are fully charged and then i try to start the engine a cupple of times in a row i get a fail on the automatic transmision. For about 14 days ago i got the valve cover gasket chanced by a mechanic.

Engine light in the dash flashing ?... if its the "car and spanner" light is that not something to do with the immobiliser ?

There are other the mean that it could be problems with the immobiliser so thats are an opportunity. But i had tryed with 3 different keys in total.
