Title: Central locking problem.
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 21 February 2012, 13:01:14
The front passenger door refuses to lock and unlock. The other three doors are fine.
 Any ideas please?

Likely to be the little microswitch in the central locking motor.

Either change the motor as per the maintenance guide or strip the motor down and change the switch (much cheaper). While the lock mechanism is out of the car it's worthwhile giving it a good clean and lubricate.

I had a similar problem on my earlier Astra. After you reach the microswtich, test if he is receiving power. On mine was a wire broken, the switch was ok.
