I have always thought of this as somewhat sad - but then I knew lots of guitar players anyway.

yeah, if theyre going to put so much effort into pretending to play guitar, why not actually LEARN to play guitar too!

one of the contenders said something like 'you can be a rock star without havin to be a rock star'... i was thinking that was probably one of the fun parts!!
