in the short term at least, carpal tunnel steroid injection rather hurts......

LOL   honest, it's just that I  can't see caps lock when typing only with left hand,.........   very few of you are THAT  gorgeous aesthetically.....   ;)

I had one last September, into the base of the r/h middle finger.  As advised, it got worse for a few days before it settled down.  End result....Sweet F.A !!  >:(
Now on Feldene gel for pain management and wrist splints at night and periodically during the day. Saw the consultant yesterday and if it's still an issue in 6 months then he'll go the surgical route.

(but as non life threatening things go, carpal tunnel to a musician, especially a guitarist/keyboardist is a tad irritatingly depressing.....    i was just bitching about the discomfort....   given that i am not being allowed painkillers for it so as to better judge the effects over time ....   )

Never had carpal tunnel Max, and after a quick Google I wouldn't want it either.

My poker style bet above was meant as a bit of light hearted humour, I hope the pain & discomfort goes away very shortly for you.

Agreed ! :(     

Try Ibuprophen (5%) gel.  I can't see an issue with that.  :y

(I think Martian has 'Top Trump' on this game tho' !)
