Hi All OOFers!
My coolant level warning came on yesterday when on a dual carriageway. I stopped and had a look at level in header tank. All was ok. When I got home I checked the plug underneath the header tank and also the float inside. Everything seemed normal. Is this a normal complaint on the Omega? I have looked at other posts on here and I cannot see any answers to my question or even a fix. Thanks!!

Common fault. Replace tank

try pushing float up and down a few times in tank they can sometimes stick :y
oh make sure it has cooled down first though :D

Seem to have fixed it! I took the clip off which attaches the tank to the chassis. I removed plug from bottom of tank and cleaned both plug and socket pins then sprayed with WD40. :y
