Hello All, reccomended by Steve to join up, nice one cheers!
I just had my Omega advertised for sale on ebay, and it didn't reach the reserve, and i have to say i am a little pleased it didn't. The car is fantastic and one of the best i've owned.
I started out on Vauxhalls about 7 years ago with Senators, then had a lovely Cavalier Gsi, and in the last 3 years had a succession of Ex-Police Omegas, all facelift models. They are such a great car, and if you pick the Force their from an excellent buy for the money.
My current one is an Ex-Thames Valley car and was based at Biscester. This is the 4 Thames Valley one i've had.
I was only considering selling it as i have seen a 3.2 Auto MV6, in murcato blue (an ex-police unmarked car) that i fancied.
Any way enough of me waffling on hope to chat with some like minded folk soon!
Regards, Paul

Yes mate they are a special edition, Police spec version. :y
No doubt other forum members will be able to add, but i am aware that they do differ from factory MV6 versions. Apart from the deletion of certain 'MV6' standard equipment ie alloys cruise sports seats etc, i am reliably informed they are fitted with a 30XEF engine not 30XE. They are slightly up on horses etc, this may be wrong so don't all shoot me down but what i had heard. Most of the 'specials' were prepared or supplied through Vauxhall Specialist Vehicles Operations. (the revised headlining etc being fitted there etc)  :-?
If anyone knows any more please let me know....ta
