Omega General Help / Re: help with me wheel pleaze :)
« on: 04 June 2007, 18:44:35 »
hi unfortunatly it humms all the time what really worrys me is the look of the wheel how it seems to be leaning especially with the noise,  :-/
as my husband had a drive shaft and ball joint snap and his front wheel on his astra and it folded under the car thankfully he was going round a bend at the time so not to much damage im just para to drive it untill i have an idea, as its the car i use with the kids

Omega General Help / help with me wheel pleaze :)
« on: 04 June 2007, 18:32:07 »
hi all im after a bit of help in finding out my problem b4 going to a garage so at least it will seem like i know what im talking about before they try and fleece me  :P

the other night i went out in me car all fine and dandy then the next morning i went to work and there was a loudish "humming kind of noise coming from front passenger side wheel,
you couldnt hear it from outside just inside the car,

wheel bearing i thought, so had the wheel taken off gave it a tighten looks ok, though there is a bit of play with the wheel, (the humming did stop for a very short while) its now driving and pulling to the left,

getting out the car and having a look i dont know wether its me being paranoid but the alloy looks like its leaning ( like its gonna fold under the car) but only slightly i thought it could be my air in my tires as it looked like it was a bit flatter but the air is fine in it, im stumped as to what to get done with it and it might be somethin simple that my OH could do
i just dont wanna walk into a garage as they will prob try to say it needs a whole front end (hahahaha) so it would be great for any ideas, so i dont look a complete idiot,  :-/
cheers to all for any and all suggestions  ;D :D ;D

* theboy * maybe if i had a bad language jar i could have afforded an mv6  :'( i might have to start one  ;)

i know i dont see many ladies driving them  :'(

they dont know what there missing, i went from a renault 5 to a 2.5 v6 omega, and it was love from the moment of getting behind the wheel,

i have now downgraded somewhat as my old one leaked that much oil i might as well have left the sump nut out  :(,

so i now have a 2.2 still nice but not as meaty my dream would be to have an MV6  ::)
