had a thought...could gear box oil be the problem? if so does anyone know how to check and change the oil on a v6 auto omega?...also dis pack? what is that..im not good with abbreviations when it comes to cars and im also pretty new to the omega still lol

hi guys..im have a small issue..i own a 2.5 omega auto..whilst driving the car as i accelerate the car starts struggling between 2000 and 3000 rpm and then is fine again...it does this thru all four gears...almost like the gears cogs have been worn away?
after that engine speed it will surge forward and gain speed as usual has anybody come accross this behaviour before or have any idea what could be happening?

to be honest i havent noticed the fans lol...the engine is drowned out by the hole in the exhaust atm ill check that this after noon and get back to you on that.

at my last chack all belts where fine dont think the stat would be sticking as the gauge is moving up and down when the car is in motion everything else as far as i can tell is running ok....im pretty new to these cars to be honest so forgive my noobness lol

coolant expansion tank is clean...just very low on coolant...am i looking for similar damage to the picture on mine ?

hi guys got another issue i hope you could help with? after nearly 5 weeks off the road due to needing a new crank case sensor and no tax...i finally got my 2.5 v6 elite auto back yesterday in time for a family trip out...whilst stuck in traffic i noticed the oil temp dial was shooting up into the red section whilst the car was stationary and when in motion it was hovvering around the 130 degrees mark . i got the car off the road as quickly as possible and gave it 5 hours to cool down but it did it again on a second drive that day!i have also notice that it keeps needing me to check coolant level and top up,yet i have never seen any trace of water dripping from the engine?i have noticed a minor oil leak around the bottom of the gearbox and sump...any ideas ? do i just need to buy oil and top it up? or is it something more deadly i need to address?

Finally got someone to turn it over whilst I checked pullovers and can belt and all is still turning over.... Please excuse my dumbness I'm secretly a blonde... So with the fault code I list earlier.. What u guys reckon it could be and can any body supply me with a replacement ?

I could be massively wrong.... But to be honest it just doesn't sound the way it normally does when I turn the key.... All I can hear is a loud whirring

Just done the paper clip test and is flashing up as 19 which is Incorrect rpm signal (1 flash followed by 9 flashes) any more help... Sorry to be a pain guys
