I definately suggest you do the spin on-conversion. Easier to fit than new housing and much, much more reliable!

When you say full do you really mean allllll the way from manifolds to rear silencer or just something like Simons catback? :o

37k - that is shocking. Still at least you are getting some parts before it is turned into a fridge or whatever.

What a throw away society we live in.  :o
Or a Prius  :o :'(

That sounds like an easy install so me, might jump the power before the fuse and place separate fuse to extra WP :) Possibly going to drive on a race circuit next summer so all the extra cooling is good. Still priority would be to install external oil cooler hence original one has been blocked&bypassed on my new motor :/

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: ABS ecu's , how many types?
« on: 12 November 2014, 21:23:16 »
Anyone got a part number for the right one? Or one for sale that will match ?
As far as I know you should be able to fit any ABS ecu there if it's from manual non-DBW v6 and has ABS/TC configs inside.

....
. But then again never seen or even heard the front one :o  Strange..

Perhpas Finland doesn't get warm enough for the engine to need additional circulation when it's stopped  ::) ::)
That might be ::)  really strange still, sounds like a really smart system :/ Wonder if one could retrofit that by jumping power from rad fans power suply ::) ::) ::)

Here in Finland we have had that "circulation pump" as we call it all models starting from first PFLs. But then again never seen or even heard the front one :o  Strange..

Is that an FL or vauxie only feature since I've never seen one :(

My MFL V6 was fitted with one, as I'm sure all V6s are, not sure about the 4 pots  :-\ I can't see that it's Vx only as it's a simple means of preserving your car engine from cooking itself after a run when ambient temp is high
Is it on top or lower water hose or where? :( You got me reallh confused here :D

I think we should get Webby to give us a full documented video of how to do this job  :P

You want a video of a fat lad cross threading every bolt?  :-\ ;D
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

There's one on the front? :o Heard only of the one under coolant tank making heating more efficient. If you mean that one then it should run always when power on/car running.

I'd say second lambda is fubar for sure if driven unpluged :/ That trim really seems to be faaaaaaar of the chart, optimal reading is ~14.7.

It still looks like a PITA!  ::)  ;D

Mind you, it's not an issue that I've seen crop up on here regularly so I'll file that in the 'Hope not' folder along with the leaky head gasket!  ;)  ;D

Its overlooked imo , especially seeing how its hidden at the back  :( Mite be able to put your hand down there an see if its leaking  :-\
You can reach under the car all the way to coolant bridge, at least with my monkey arms ;D ;D When I had that seal blown coolant ran on both sides of gearbox and there was a small puddle where clutch's hose enters bell housing :(
