Hi, does anyone know of any sets of the 8.5" fronts and 10" rears for the omega? ST1 shape?
Im really keen to get a set but they seem to be like the proverbial rocking horse muck!

Mine taxbook says v6 special so hopefully not armoured anywhere on the database, ive had a few x armoured omega here, used to transport judges in.n.ireland, really rough body wise but great for parts including bilstien b8's

I tried greenlight as a 3.2 auto mv6 but as you say best to have it properly insured, was considering a trade policy because i tend to swop cars alot, cant wait to get it on the road, finishing the buffing on sunday , will get pics up after

6
How do people on here insure a 3.2 v6 special? ??? when i look on websites it obviously only lists the 3.2 mv6's [all auto],

Cheers AL

Well, it def has a new engine and box, the clutch is definately slipping in second, how long it was between the engine refit and clutch going i dont know, couldnt have been long. It does seem strange not to have done a clutch but i will get history of the car from a friend in vauxhall. New clutch should be fitted this week, its getting buffed tommorow, cant wait

I have had 30 omegas so far and in my experience 3.2 x police ones all need clutches around 50 k, a combination of rash driving and multiple drivers is not kind to them,

I recently bought a 2002 unmarked v6 special direct from the PSNI here via an auction. When i got it home and put it on the ramp i have made a very nice discovery. She was already a low miler with just 57k but i have now found out that she has had a brand new engine and gearbox. Both have the plates with R part numbers and are lovely and shiny, also a new starter, rear calipers, front pads and backing plates, new centre sections and two new dunlop tyres. The car was bought as a non runner, a  friend found a cut earth wire and live feed to the ecu loom, now reconnected and running really well. One downside is a slipping clutch, however i bought a genuine 3 piece kit on ebay awhile back for 60 posted so it will now have a use. She is in need of a good buff as i would guess its been brush washed all its life, tried a wing and the blue flake is really coming up well :y The limited slip diff is lovely and tight with no snatching but locked with a dip of the clutch. I intend on doing a progress thread. I already have a brand new prodrive bumper and spoiler to be painted and fitted, mv6 cloth (until i can find leather), silver trim and a good set of late elite/sport wheels. Lowering springs will also help the look of her together with a remus twin square exhaust which is currently on my dad's car.

Hard to get a low miler now and i im looking forward to racking up a few miles on this project when i get it sorted

ooohhh sounds like good news, must ask the mate to borrow his works one. It could really do with traction control its fond of spinning the rubber boots off itself at the first hint of dampness

Hi, i have a 3.2 that has been manualled, just wondering if i put a manual loom in it and change the abs ecu to a manual one will the traction control work?

could it not be paired again with tech 2? A friend works in vauxhall and could get him to 'borrow it'
