Omega General Help / Re: Hi new to this site

Thanks for all the guidance gentlemen, and in view of the urgency I now find myself requiring alternative transport I am going to abandon the idea of repair and offer it for Spares / Repair via the internet. So if anyone is interested, I have pictures of the vehicle, let me know.
Thanks again for all the help.
Steve

Passed mechanical experience and the "speed" with which the engine spins over - implying little or no resistance. That and the initial prognosis of the man from the AA

Haven't taken compression readings - the vehicle "spins" over quite freely !
Sorry, South Hampshire - more specifically - Fareham / Portsmouth area

Hi I have recently purchased a V6 3.0 Elite Auto - and subsequently I believe the head gasket to have blown!! :-(
Does anyone know one a competant repairer in the South  Hampshire area. Thanks

I don't have enough posts to place a classified so this IMO is the best alternative.
Some of you may have read my thread on the "water loss" I suffered last week in my 3.0 V6 Elite Saloon.
It appears that the head gasket has blown at the very least.
The rest of the car is good to go, having driven it for 500 miles only since buying it without any knocks or rattles, all electrics working and heated leather (memory on drivers) seats. I am now open to sensible offers for this spares or repairs project.
