Omega General Help / Front Bumper Repair...
« on: 11 October 2012, 19:58:42 »

I there..  Can anyone give me some advise about repairing my Beloved Irmscher front bumper...  some little T**T reversed inti the front of my omega at tesco and did a runner...  leaving me with a X shape split in the top of my bumper..  a split washer bottle, a bent Bumper support and a damaged bonnet..

Alas I have managed to sort a bumper, bottle and a bumper support bar from here...  but need help with the Bumper repair itself...

Only personal opinion, but I'd never trust it again....

I would certainly agree with that one. :y

I'm in agreement..  Even after its been 'fixed' it will never be a strong as an original..  My opinion would be to spend the €250 on getting a replacement, you can still buy those alloys on the continent.  they are still quite popular in Germany, so I'd check on auctio sites for that country.. also try www.rieger-tuning.de or www.duw-shop.de

That would be my perfect sunday...  but the missus would kill me stripping the engine on the driveway...  Knowing my luck she'd want to go somewhere half way through stripping it..  lmao

Love the new wheels twiglet... what are they.. ???

They are 8" x 18" Irmscher Stila rims, and are still listed as being available on the Irmscher website.  Make sure you're sitting down before you look at the price though!!!  :o :o

your rims are very nice  :y  but those exotic rims are a fortune.. I looked for a Keskin kt4 , they cost around 1500 £ with good brand tires here :-\

You're right Cem, my rims retail at £1300 for a set of 4, without tyres!!!  :o :o I won't tell you what I paid for them!  ;)

You haven't part ex'd the missus have you?  lol  :D :D

Omega General Help / Re: Tyres ... Different size Front And Rear
« on: 10 February 2012, 20:03:45 »
yeah mine are like that but what you have to decide is what size spare wheel you going to have.

I took my spare wheel out, and replaced it with one of them tyre foam things...  worked a treat when i got a puncture, they say you can't re-use a tyre after you inflate it with the foam, but you can, it just needs a damn good cleaning afterwards...  and a understanding tyre fitter..   :y
