The battery is a CR2032, available from stockists of batteries, and I know W.H.Smith sell them for one.

Just make sure you don't do what I did once with one of these and push the battery against the black clip at it's rear, as the battery MUST go UNDER it.

The alarm will go off if you use the key manually in the lock, but once you start the engine it should cease.

erm well thanks for this advise someone has also done this :\ at least its not just mee !

ive just got a omega 2.2 dti cd its a lovely car its my 3rd omega but i think theres a problem with the turbo side of it i can feel the turbo kick in at around 2000rpm but it goes away after 3000 and then doesnt seem to have any go in it im wondering if the turbo has gone or it could be some other problem ive only just got the car and its been stood for a while so its probs in need of a service but is there any commen problem that it could be

hi ive not long since got my 2.5 v6 omega then did over 2000 miles in it but the otherday it started up ok but as soon as it warmed up the choke came off and it kept missing when i put my foot down my mate told me its probs the maf sensor but are there any other probs it could be?

hi all i thought id join up to this ive got a nice 2.5 v6 manual delect its got 67k on the clock and its in pretty good nik this is my 4th one now had nearly every type from a old 8v to a ex police 3.0 v6 that was a fun one
