thanks to all that help me it was the seletor switch on the gear box .i got one four £50 thats better than £300

How many miles has it done and was the fluid ever changed?
Do the selector lights next to the gear lever corespond with the gear lever position?

hi all can sum 1 help i have just got a omega 2.2 auto on a 02 reg when you are driving it goes in to nutral you put it in to 3 and back in to drive and it is ok.or sum times it wont gear up or down or sport buton will not work you turn car off and start it back up and it will be ok :

well wot can i say i got a 02 reg 2.2 omega two weeks a go but to day i got a 2.5 on a v reg four £400 one owner 79000 miles on the clock fsh but bad pont is no tax or mot but all will be sorted four week end
