General Discussion Area / M25 what a mess.
« on: 30 January 2021, 17:02:41 »
Drove home from South London this morning after having two properties valued yesterday, horrendous weather but even worse was the surface of the M25 the potholes are dreadful in places hate to think about anyone on 2 wheels having to cope with that, we left at 06.20 very little traffic around mainly HGVs, glad to get home to Lincolnshire , so glad we moved out of the smoke.

General Car Chat / Brilliant replacement.
« on: 27 November 2020, 13:15:29 »
I know one or two on here have Range Rovers & Jags & this appears a common but annoying problem with them, the fuel filler cap strap breaks so it is possible to leave/ lose the cap . Mine was broken when I purchased the RRS last year  Jaguar/LR will only supply a new cap complete with strap which was around £23 when I enquired . On the RRS forum I read a post yesterday that Powerful UK have manufactured a strap for various Jags& Land Rovers for £4.88 Inc vat, I ordered one which arrived today there are instructions on YouTube on how to fit it correctly , so all fitted in a matter of minutes 👍

General Discussion Area / National Insurance record.
« on: 19 November 2020, 15:28:10 »
Been looking on the gov.uk website today & came across one that tells you your complete national insurance record  payments, totted mine up to just over £50,000 didn't think that was too bad at all, so in around 6 years I should be in profit from the state pension, amazing what a grey boring afternoon can make you do.

General Discussion Area / Another lockdown on the way.
« on: 18 September 2020, 13:38:11 »
Just caught the tail end of the news , sounded like another full lockdown could be imposed due to huge increase in the virus. What was on the news last night about testing sounded farcical.
